Tour of Lemon Grove - 10:30 AM
About this event
Explore the neighborhood of Lemon Grove, home to the Lemon Festival. Step back in time to 1897, where lemon groves and packing houses were the lifeblood of the community. We will tour the Parsonage Museum, Atherton Chapel, and Treganza Heritage Park. We will start in the museum then walk across the courtyard to the H. Lee House, walk a couple of blocks to the History Mural, and see the Big Lemon! We will have lunch at the Lemon Grove Bistro.
The tour is donation based. Please give $5. Guests are welcome.
Carpools can be arranged the week of the event. Meet at 3185 Olive Street by 10:15 am.
