Tour of Rancho Guajome Adobe - 10:00 AM

About this event

Join us as we step back in time to tour the Rancho Guajome Adobe, a National Historic Landmark. Originally a 2219-acre Mexican land grant, the ranch offers an illustration of a colorful era in San Diego's past. In 1851 it was gifted to the handsome Cave Johnson Courts and his bride Ysidora as a wedding present from her brother-in-law. They turned the Rancho into a social and cultural center for North San Diego County.

The tour will last about 1.5 hours. The staff recommend wearing close-toed shoes and bringing a hat.

If there are more than 12 registered, we'll have two tour guides. Guests are welcome.

Bring a picnic lunch, and we'll have lunch in the picnic area after the tour.
